Secondary Campus Fine Arts Addition & Athletic Facilities Improvements
In 2011, Story Construction was the construction manager-agent for this $15.5 million project. The Fine Arts Addition consisted of one- and two-story buildings of precast, masonry and steel construction totaling approximately 45,000 square feet and associated site work to add music classrooms, dressing rooms, and a 925-seat theatrical and instrumental performance auditorium. The Athletic Facilities Improvements included a new football/soccer stadium, a multi-purpose building, tennis courts and additional parking. Lakewood Elementary School Addition & Remodel
In 2010, Story served as the construction manager-agent for this 48,000-square-foot addition consisting of a two-story classroom wing, a dining hall and a gymnasium. The $10 million project also included renovating 40,000 square feet of classroom and administrative space.
Secondary Campus Addition & Renovations
In 2007, Story acted as the construction manager-agent on this $12 million project to add one- and two-story buildings of masonry and steel construction totaling 53,000 square feet, renovate existing building areas totaling 98,000 square feet, renovate the mechanical system and complete associated site work. Additions included a new gymnasium lobby, public restrooms and a new 8/9 building with classrooms and a cafeteria.
Oviatt Elementary School Addition & Renovation
In 2003, Story served as the construction manager-agent for this $1.3 million project that began in June 2003 and was completed in time for the first day of school on Aug. 20. The renovation phase involved remodeling 16 primary-grade classrooms with new window units, carpeting, acoustical ceilings, interior and exterior doors and lighting and fire/emergency alarm systems, as well as upgrading the mechanical and electrical systems. An addition for more classrooms and a new media center was constructed by Oct. 31.
