Story Construction Co. was selected as the Construction Manager and Constructor for this new 30,000 square foot worship facility in Bettendorf, Iowa. The design encompasses a 26-foot high sanctuary and a 20-foot high commons area. The remainder of the building is used for Sunday School classrooms, office space and multi-use rooms.
Exterior construction consists of 8” block and brick. Interior partitions are block or metal studs and drywall. Joist and metal deck is being used on the roof with ballast roofing.
The facility is equipped with a fire sprinkler system. A geothermal well system is the energy source for the heating and cooling systems for the building.
