Story Construction Recognizes Excellence
Story Construction Co. held its annual Appreciation and Recognition Event on July 16, 2009. Representatives from the construction industry attended the steak fry at Coldwater Golf Links in Ames.
This event is held to express Story’s appreciation to its industry partners and to recognize the outstanding firms they have worked with during the past year.
Each year Story personnel nominate firms to be recognized for Subcontractor and Supplier of the Year Awards. This year, ACI Mechanical, Inc., a mechanical contractor located in Ames, was named Subcontractor of the Year. Ramark, LLC of Urbandale, a supplier of fabricated miscellaneous steel was named Supplier of the Year. Star Equipment, received a Special Recognition Award for their long-time relationship and outstanding service provided to Story for the past 41 years. Star is a supplier of construction equipment with offices in Des Moines, Ames, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo.
